As mentioned in the Nostalgia section, Prof. Walker was presented with an award for his dedication to communicating Photosynthesis to the general public. This section contains examples of why this award was so well deserved!

Prof. Walker has written 2 books aimed "For readers between nine and one hundred and nine". They aim to provide an entertaining and light-hearted overview of the mechanisms and origins of Photosynthesis whilst remaining factually sound and concise.

One of the books, "A Leaf in Time" has been translated into Spanish and is also included in this section for download.
